- Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
- Establish pricing models and structures for products and services based on cost analysis, market demand, customer requirements, and pricing elasticity.
- Monitor pricing performance and adjust pricing strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor pricing strategies.
- Analyze pricing data, sales performance, and market dynamics to evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Perform benchmarking studies to ensure competitive and profitable pricing positions.
- Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare pricing proposals and recommendations for customers based on service scope, cost structure, and profitability targets.
- Support contract negotiations by providing pricing analysis, financial insights, and commercial guidance.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to analyze cost drivers and determine optimal pricing levels.
- Conduct cost benchmarking and margin analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend pricing actions to improve margins and operational efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and update pricing policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with internal pricing guidelines, approval processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement controls to maintain pricing consistency, accuracy, and integrity across the organization.
- Develop and maintain pricing databases, tools, and reporting systems to improve pricing accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare pricing performance reports and business insights for management review.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit and Compliance teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing processes, analytics, and decision-making capabilities.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in pricing management, revenue management, or related roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of pricing strategies, models, and methodologies within the freight forwarding industry.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.
- Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
