ROLE DESCRIPTION
- The primary focus of this role is to effectively manage shipping partners and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring smooth customs clearance and timely warehouse inbound operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 3PL & Carrier Management: Directly coordinate and monitor the performance of shipping vendors and 3PL partners.
- Customs Problem Solving: Proactively handle issues arising during the customs clearance process; propose and implement effective solutions to release goods as quickly as possible.
- Deadline Assurance: Closely track international shipping schedules to ensure goods are inbound on deadline, timely supporting business operations.
- Document & Financial Control: Verify the validity of import-export documentation; perform reconciliation and approve payments for logistics partners.
- Data Reporting: Ability to quickly learn new software and use Excel to report operational performance and inbound progress to management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience dealing directly with shipping carriers, 3PL partners, or import-export companies.
- Atitude: Highly responsible, driving results to meet deadlines, and meticulous cost approvals.
- Skills: Hands-on experience in handling situations where cargo is held up at customs or encounters clearance documentation issues.
- Deep understanding of logistics processes and customs procedures to effectively manage and control documentation remotely.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Languages: Proficient in English or Chinese for daily workplace communication and operations.
