KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Technical Leadership
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to the development team, ensuring high-quality
design, implementation, and delivery of features using Angular, NestJS, and related
technologies.
• Review and guide system architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance,
and adherence to best practices.
• Provide timely technical solutions and communicate them clearly to the Product Owner,
Scrum Master, and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor and enforce coding standards, code quality, and technical best practices across the
product lifecycle.
• Support team members with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical
issues.
2) Team & Project Leadership
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, all stakeholders, and cross-functional
teams to ensure alignment on product goals, requirements, and delivery timelines.
• Support sprint planning by providing technical estimation, ensuring tasks are well-defined,
feasible, and aligned with sprint goals.
• Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., defect rate, project velocity) and identify technical
dependencies, risks, and roadblocks to improve delivery and ensure business requirements
are met.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews,
retrospectives) and provide technical guidance throughout the process.
• Support release planning and coordinate with the team to ensure sprint deliverables are
completed with high quality and aligned with the global product roadmap.
3) Team Coaching & Continuous Improvement
• Mentor and coach developers to improve their technical skills, code quality, and
productivity.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices in software
engineering, system design, and testing.
• Work with the Scrum Master to ensure Scrum practices are followed effectively and help
remove technical impediments.
4) Communication & Reporting
• Provide regular technical status updates and reports to leadership and all stakeholders,
highlighting progress, risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.
• Facilitate clear communication between engineering, product, and external teams to ensure
shared understanding and smooth coordination.
5) Technical Documentation Ownership
• Prepare and review architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, database schema, and API
documentation for all major features.
• Ensure documentation is updated incrementally in each sprint to reflect design and
implementation of changes.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to maintain accurate technical artifacts in project
repositories (e.g., Confluence, Git).
• Conduct documentation reviews during sprint planning and sprint execution to ensure
alignment with project goals.
• Provide visual design artifacts (architecture diagrams, flowcharts) to support development
and stakeholder understanding.
• Review and validate API specifications and database design for scalability and performance.
• Ensure technical decisions are well-documented and communicated to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Angular/NestJS or related technologies.
• Solid understanding of system design, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; Scrum Master knowledge is a plus.
• Prior experience in the finance domain is an advantage.
• Strong communication and comprehension skills in English.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Project management or Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP) is a plus.
