Job description
1. Review and verify accounting entries recorded by accountants.
2. Guide accountants in handling and accounting operations.
3. Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
4. Calculate and review the monthly weighted average cost of goods sold (COGS).
5. Review account balances to ensure consistency with supporting schedules.
6. Coordinate monthly and annual financial closing processes.
7. Provide financial reports and accounting data to the management or functional units upon request.
8. Support tax inspections and external audits by preparing required documents and explanations.
9. Summarize and compile accounting data when required for cross-checking or other requests from superiors.
10. Ensure proper archiving and storage of accounting records in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
11. Perform other tasks assigned by the superior according to regulations.
Job requirements
- University
- Major: Accounting/Finance/Audit or other related major.
- Have a Chieft Accountant certificate Kinh nghiệm
- Minimum 07 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in the FMCG and retail industry preferred.
- Experience in General ledger accounting and financial reporting
- English Proficiency: English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 730 (Upper level of Limited Working Proficiency approaching Professional Proficiency) or above. Candidates who have not taken the TOEIC test must demonstrate equivalent proficiency through interviews or the company’s English assessment. Expected ability: 1)Participate in meetings conducted in English, 2)Understand accounting documentation and emails in English, 3) Communicate with auditors, partners, or regional teams when required
- Professional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and tax regulations, Financial reporting and reconciliation, internal control awareness.
- Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy, Analytical thinking, Time management, Teamwork and communication, Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
