Copywriter Lead (HAVAS Group Vietnam)

We are looking for a strategic, innovative Copywriter Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will shape the creative voice, drive strategic conceptualization, and inspire a team of creators, leading integrated campaigns from pitch to final delivery.

Responsibilities

1/ Creative Development

• Lead concept and copy development for integrated campaigns, social content, digital assets, KV, video scripts and activation ideas.
• Translate brand strategy and insights into creative narratives.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, communication objectives and campaign strategy.
• Present ideas internally and to clients when required.

2/ Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor copywriters.
• Provide direction, feedback and quality control on all copy outputs.
• Develop the team’s creative capabilities and writing standards.

3/ Quality Control

• Review and approve copy before client submission.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and attention to detail across all deliverables.
• Maintain high creative standards and ensure work is delivered on time.

4/ Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with internal teams to develop campaign ideas.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute strategic thinking.
• Support pitches and new business opportunities.

5/ Client & Presentation

• Present concepts and creative rationale to clients.
• Handle feedback and refine ideas.
• Build trust with clients through strong creative thinking and execution.

Requirements

• From 5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in advertising or creative agencies.
• At least 1–2 years of experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Good understanding of social media, digital content, and integrated marketing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating integrated campaigns, social content and digital work or lifestyle brands is a plus.
• Leadership abilities with experience in mentoring, managing creative conflicts, and inspiring the team.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Fluent in both Vietnamese and English, able to adapt tone and style based on audience and brand.
