SENIOR CREATIVE COPYWRITER

We are looking for an ambitious senior writer to lead the ideation concept and copy development on all comms for leading multi-utility super app and other major brands.

Reporting to WAN’s CEO, and partnering with the Senior Art Director, you will lead a team of junior creatives to conceptualise and deliver work across the entire brand ecosystem.

You must be comfortable working on fast-paced briefs and collaborating with both, agency and brand teams to:

• Solve business problems through strategies and ideas that change behaviours and open disruptive opportunities (products, movements and campaigns) for the brand.
• Deliver world-class, digital-first comms – scripts, content, ads, BIG THROUGH THE LINE IDEAS etc.. you are proficient with both short copy and long copy that are a referent for both, the audience and the industry.
• You understand the consumer journey and understand implicitly the steps customers go through to engage with your brand successfully.
• You are a storyteller/story-seller and deeply understand the ongoing relationship between the brand and its members/fans and evolving this through both reactive and proactive activities and content.
• You need to be digitally savvy and on-trend, understanding what is dynamic out there
• You must be bi-lingual – excel in both in your native Vietnamese tongue and speak decent English too.
• You must be able to handle a high-pressure, high volume workload

The ideal candidate must prove highly-strategic thinking and best-in-class concepting and writing skills in their folio. Strong presentation and deck creation skills as well as a collaborative and relentless spirit are a plus.

This is a platform engraved in trends, youth and culture. A successful candidate must prove his/her deep understanding of any of these.

Significant experience or understanding of the super-app category, and a genuine drive to re-shape culture through professional or personal projects are highly desirable.

• You have a knack for digital thinking and constantly research tech trends, demonstrated by your development experience
• You have knowledge in providing quick ballparks and accurate estimates, clearly defining the scope and underlying assumptions
• As a start-up company we expect you to go above and beyond what is required on the JD. Be proactive and embrace challenges as opportunities. There may times occasionally where you may be asked to stay back or come in on weekends
