About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is eager to learn, willing to take initiative, and interested in building a long-term career in sourcing, purchasing, and supply-chain management.
This position will provide day-to-day operational and execution across global purchasing, supplier coordination, order management, logistics, inventory, and new product activities.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn. We are looking for someone who is dependable, responsive, willing to help wherever needed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change.
What you'll do
- Prepare technical packs and coordinate product and sample development according to buyer requirements.
- Communicate buyer comments to suppliers, follow up on revisions, and obtain timely confirmation and approval.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best available quality, quantity, pricing, and estimated delivery dates in the company’s interest.
- Manage confirmed orders from sample development and production sample approval through bulk production and shipment.
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders in the internal system
- Confirm purchase-order acknowledgements, pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates with suppliers, and promptly flag discrepancies for review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier, item, purchasing, and order information.
- Monitor open-order reports and proactively follow up on outstanding confirmations, documentation, production milestones, and delivery dates.
- Consistently track product and order status and communicate with buyers and suppliers to ensure on-time shipment.
- Apply quality-control requirements throughout product development and production, proactively identifying and escalating potential quality, production, or delivery issues.
- Support other order-processing, purchasing, and supplier-management tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate
- B.A in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Merchandise, or relevant fields.
- Having minimum 06 months of experience working in Garment, Footwear, Home Decor.
- Strong communication in Vietnamese and English
- Proficient Excel, Outlook Office
- Critical thinking mindset: Able to propose solutions and is open to expressing opinions and raising issues.
- Strong attention to detail in follow-ups and documentation.
- Fast response with a supportive mindset toward teams and suppliers.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic problem-solving skills, able to identify issues and escalate clearly.
- Leverage usage of AI/3D design skill is a plus.
