Job Overview:
We are looking for an AI Engineer Intern to help design and deploy AI-powered features across our O2O platform. Unlike a purely research-focused role, this position emphasizes applied AI in production-like environments - including recommendation systems, NLP-powered automation, and operational optimization. You will work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to turn business problems into scalable AI solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support development of AI-driven functionalities for smart matching (customer ↔ tasker recommendation), search & ranking optimization, demand forecasting and churn prediction.
- Develop and experiment with NLP/LLM-based solutions.
- Design, run, and analyze A/B tests for new AI features.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to build feature pipelines and ensure models receive clean, real-time data from the bTaskee app and Partner app.
- Explore new AI approaches (LLMs, embeddings, recommendation techniques).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields;
- Strong foundation in Python (PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and basic Machine Learning concepts;
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with large datasets;
- Curious, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
