Position Summary
Reporting to the CEO, HR Director will lead and drive the people strategy for Ekino Vietnam (digital transformation and engineering experts) and Havas Group Vietnam (creative and media agency), acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team.
The HR Director role will support both Ekino Vietnam and Havas Group Vietnam entities, contributing to local HR leadership while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders on shared HR initiatives and projects.
This role oversees the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, training & development, performance management, compensation & benefits, compliance, employee engagement and culture development.
The HR Director plays a key role in supporting business growth, strengthening employer branding, developing leadership capability, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and people-centric organization.
The role manages a team of 3-4 HR members and 1 office administration assistant.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Business Partnership
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute people strategies in alignment with business growth, organizational priorities, and talent development.
2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
Lead talent acquisition and employer branding initiatives to attract, engage, and retain high-performing talent across the organization.
3. Manage HR team activities
Ensure effective HR operations and compliance with labor regulations while continuously improving HR policies, processes, and systems, in leading HR function to deliver strategic value and operational excellence, on the following scopes:
- Training & Development: learning and development programs that strengthen employee capabilities, leadership effectiveness, and organizational growth.
- Compensation & Benefits: compensation, benefits, and reward programs that support talent attraction, retention, and organizational competitiveness.
- Performance Management: Performance review and feedback processes across the organization. And support managers in performance coaching, career conversations, and succession planning.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Foster a positive, collaborative, and people-centric culture that enhances employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Requirements
1/ Experience & Background
- Minimum 7 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR leadership role.
- Proven track record in recruitment, HR business partnering and organizational development.
- Experience in the software development industry is an advantage.
- Previous exposure to regional or global HR collaboration is an advantage.
2/ Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of Vietnamese labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution capability.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage HR metrics and insights for decision-making.
3/ Language
Native Vietnamese. Fluent English communication skills. French is a plus.
