You will own the full sales cycle — from market research and outreach to proposal, negotiation, and contract close — while collaborating with program and operations teams to ensure successful delivery. This is not a support role; you are expected to drive results, own your pipeline, and push deals forward with urgency and professionalism.
This is not a pure execution role, you are expected to own progress, push conversations forward, and ensure results are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Client Acquisition & Revenue Generation
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporates, government agencies, academic institutions, and ecosystem partners.
- Own a personal pipeline of prospects and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement.
- Develop tailored proposals, sponsorship packages, and partnership structures that align with client objectives and InnoLab Asia's offerings.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly revenue and partnership targets.
2. Market Research & Intelligence
- Conduct structured research to identify growth sectors, emerging client needs, and competitive positioning.
- Stay current on innovation ecosystem trends across Vietnam, ASEAN, Japan, Korea, and other target markets.
- Feed market insights to leadership to inform program design and go-to-market strategy.
3. Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Represent InnoLab Asia at industry events, forums, and networking sessions to build brand presence and relationships.
- Engage senior stakeholders at potential partner organizations with credibility and strategic insight.
- Manage relationships post-close to ensure satisfaction, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
4. Proposal & Deal Execution
- Prepare high-quality partnership decks, business proposals, and commercial agreements.
- Lead and coordinate negotiation discussions to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Work with internal teams (program, legal, finance) to ensure smooth contract execution and onboarding.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with program and operations teams to align partnership commitments with delivery capabilities.
- Collaborate with marketing on outreach, content, and event-based lead generation.
- Provide strategic input on product/program positioning based on market feedback.
6. Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, pipeline trackers, and opportunity logs.
- Deliver weekly/monthly progress reports to leadership with actionable insights.
- Forecast deal closures and flag risks proactively.
CULTURE-FIT:
- Driven by growth, productivity, and long-term impact
- Passionate about InnoLab Asia’s mission to empower innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-border collaboration
- Integrity, ethics, and human-centric values are non-negotiables – giving back is part of who you are
- Strategic-minded, diligent action-taker, committed to learning and improving
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced startup environments
- A collaborative team player who’s highly accountable and committed to delivering extraordinary results
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Business, or related fields.
- Have at least 2-3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or similar roles.
- Strong result-oriented mindset: able to follow through, push progress, and ensure outcomes are delivered.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with different types of partners.
- Experience in organizing events or community engagement is a strong advantage
- Ability to manage multiple conversations, priorities, and follow-ups in parallel.
- Strong interest in startups, innovation, and international collaboration.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (both written and verbal).
- Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
BENEFITS
- Competitive salary with performance-based incentives aligned with partnership outcomes.
- A mission-driven environment creating real impact across startups and innovation ecosystems in ASEAN, Japan, Korea, Australia, and beyond.
- Direct exposure to cross-border partnerships and the opportunity to work with global partners, corporates, and ecosystem leaders.
