This position will manage Academic for 2 learning centers in Tan Hung Ward (former D7), HCMC:
- Phu My Hung Learning Center: No. 139, 10 Tay Street, Nam Quang 1 - H29 Quarter, Tan Hung Ward, HCMC
- Him Lam Learning Center: 18 Street #1, Him Lam Area, Tan Hung Ward, HCMC
Working hours: Full-time 40 hours/ week (details will be discussed in the interview)
- Mondays off and 1 weekend off (Saturday or Sunday)
- Tuesday to Friday, earliest start from 10:00 and latest end at 20:30
- Saturday or Sunday, earliest start from 08:30 and latest end at 17:30

RESPONSIBILITY
Academic Leadership & Management
- Build and lead a high-performing Academic team through coaching, performance management, and clear accountability;
- Drive academic initiatives and OKRs to improve operational excellence and student outcomes;
- Provide leadership across Academic operations and represent the function in cross-functional initiatives.
Quality Control & Retention
- Ensure consistent delivery of learning experiences through teaching standards and instructional excellence;
- Improve student retention by monitoring academic performance and continuously enhancing teaching quality;
- Lead professional development and curriculum innovation to strengthen educator capability and learning outcomes.
Teacher Utilization & Gross Margin Management
- Maximize teacher utilization through effective workforce planning, scheduling, and workload allocation;
- Optimize class composition and staffing models to achieve utilization and gross margin targets while maintaining learning quality;
- Forecast hiring needs and manage academic resources to support sustainable business growth.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Partner with the HR team to attract and recruit top-tier teaching talent;
- Ensure recruitment planning aligns with forecasted academic needs and staffing models;
- Lead the onboarding and induction process to support successful integration of new educators.
Program & Curriculum Development
- Drive curriculum enhancement and program innovation to maintain academic excellence and market competitiveness;
- Partner with cross-functional teams to successfully launch new programs and support business growth through academic expertise.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Build strong partnerships with parents and internal stakeholders to enhance the student experience and resolve academic matters;
- Contribute academic insights to performance reviews, strategic planning, and business initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Breadth
- 3+ years of full-time K–12 teaching experience with a strong foundation in pedagogy and student-centered instruction;
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or managing teams within an academic or educational environment.
Depth
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas: ESL, Early/Emergent Literacy, or College-Level Writing;
- Familiarity with international curricula and assessments, such as IGCSE, O-Level, A-Level, IB, AP, SAT, or equivalent.
Credentials
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a strong academic record;
- Advanced qualifications such as a Master's degree, DELTA, teaching license, or other relevant professional certifications are highly regarded.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising educators in a team environment;
- Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance academic quality and operational priorities;
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to drive initiatives and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
