Job Description
We are looking for an Art Director I Jr Art Director who can provide artistic direction and guidance to our team of artists to bring visuals to life. As an Art Director. you will communicate with your team and understand the challenges they face to set up the best working environment for them to achieve their goals with the skills they have. You will also work with other programmers, game designers, and QA to deliver appealing game projects and oversea team for the direction on strategy, art guideline of the Group.
Your main regpongihilitipg for thig position Will be:
- Ability to dearly communicate an artistic vision to team and project stakeholders and see the vision through to execution in the game.
- Consults and collaborates with the Production Director and other subject matter experts across all disciplines to come to informed and educated decisions about visual direction.
- Ensures that art meets quality and aesthetic standards.
- Advises leads on production pipeline for project(s).
- Advises leads on individual artist assignments for projects and tasks, including the review and critique Of art assets for specific projects.
- Responsible for setting the visual target and style on one or more projects.
- Creates style guides for various aspects of production and can account for art direction within a multiplayer environment.
- Ensures that all complaints and concerns related to inappropriate or unprofessional conduct in the workplace, are addressed immediately to foster a safe work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Key Qualifications :
- Have at least 5+ years of game development experience. with 2+ years of management experience, and a core lead credit in at least two games that have been successfully shipped.
- Proficient reading and comprehension of specialist English.
- You own the proven ability to work in the highly collaborative, interdisciplinary. iterative environment, while delivering under deadlines and time constraints.
- You have the deep understanding of art fundamentals (lighting, composition, architecture, anatomy. proportion, etc.), artistic culture (photography, movies, books, comics, etc.) & video game culture.
- You have a Strong interest in Game and Game Development, get an extensive understanding Of games in multiple genres across all platforms, and have working knowledge of industry required art software.
- You are the talent for promoting vision and methodologies and inspiring and coach others.
- You have a great mastery Of diverse art styles, and you are open-minded, and receptive to new ideas and fresh perspectives.
