KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Participate in designing, developing, and optimizing Java-based modules and backend
services for finance and accounting systems.
● Analyze business and technical requirements with BA, PM, and Tech Lead to translate
functional needs into effective technical solutions.
● Design and develop software components following Microservices or Modular Monolith
architecture, applying Clean Code, OOP, and Design Patterns.
● Build and optimize data access and business logic using PostgreSQL, Spring Data
JPA/Hibernate, jOOQ, and complex transaction management.
● Review code, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize application logic, system
performance, database queries, caching, and overall reliability.
● Coordinate with QC, Frontend, DevOps, and project teams during development,
unit/integration testing, deployment, and incident resolution.
● Research new technologies, development practices, and architecture approaches to
improve system quality, scalability, and engineering efficiency.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical implementation, knowledge
sharing, mentoring where applicable, and overall project delivery progress.
REQUIREMENTS
2–3 years of experience for Middle level or 4–5 years for Senior level in Java software
development; experience in finance and accounting systems is preferred.
● Strong knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms,
and Clean Code principles; Java 21 experience is preferred.
● Good understanding of software architecture, system design, Design Patterns, and
distributed system concepts; Microservices or Modular Monolith experience is preferred.
● Hands-on experience developing enterprise backend systems using Spring Boot; Spring
Cloud and Spring Modulith experience are preferred.
● Experience with RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, and
SQL optimization; jOOQ experience is preferred.
● Solid knowledge of transaction management, database performance tuning, caching, and
message-driven systems; Redis and Kafka/RabbitMQ experience are preferred.
● Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git workflow, Unit Testing, and Integration Testing
using JUnit and Mockito; experience with Agile/Scrum is preferred.
● For Senior level, the ability to provide technical direction, design module-level solutions,
conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior team members is required.
