Silentium Vietnam is a software consulting company focusing on building products for our partners, mainly in Europe. At the moment, we are partnering with doctor associations in Germany to build next-gen software to serve the German market.
To support our continued growth, Silentium is looking for a proactive General Accountant cum HR to oversee the company’s accounting operations while supporting basic HR administrative tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial management and smooth payroll-related processes.
Responsibilities
Accounting:
• Verify payment requests and accounting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accounting records and perform bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare financial reports including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Perform account reconciliations (AR, AP, assets, salary, and other relevant accounts).
• Manage accounting documentation, data maintenance, and weekly payment runs.
• Handle periodic tax declarations and reports including VAT, PIT, FCT, and CIT.
HR (Payroll & Compliance Support):
• Prepare and process monthly payroll in coordination with internal teams.
• Handle basic social insurance (SI) procedures and personal income tax (PIT) related to employee payroll.
• Maintain payroll records and support HR administrative documentation when required.
Skill and experience
• At least 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Tax.
• Basic knowledge of payroll processing, social insurance (SI), and personal income tax (PIT).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills with a proactive and learning mindset.
