QA Supervisor

Job description

• Monitor KPI indicators to evaluate quality performance and report to the department head.
• Monitor the yield and pass rate of quality for continuous improvements. Facilitate Root Cause Investigations related to process & materials which impact on final product performance.
• Train team members on quality standards and quality control procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products throughout the production process.
• Prepare and organize internal quality system audits according to ISO 9001 standards, brand requirements, customer requirements, or third-party standards.
• Sharing of daily quality reports and summary of monthly quality reports in CTC plant.
• Quality complaint handling and COA document preparation.
• Provide leadership for the local QA team; train team members on quality standards and ensure consistent adherence to company QA procedures.
• Coordinate with customers and provide regular one-on-one training to inspectors to ensure defects can be properly identified during the inspection process.

Job requirements

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Good communication in English or Chinese (4 skills) are required.

Qualification

• Engineering degree is desirable but not essential.
• A background/education in Quality Systems and principles is a strong advantage.

Experience

• Working experience in the textile/garment industry is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in quality management.

Competencies and skills

• Strong comprehension ability and execution ability is necessary.
• Be familiar with the five tools and apply.
• Principle awareness.
