Job Role
The Part-Time Data Annotator – Vietnam will be responsible for supporting AI search optimization activities by reviewing, categorizing, and validating localized digital information related to Vietnam’s geography, business entities, and employment-related data.
Working remotely with flexible scheduling, the successful candidate will conduct structured online research, verify local information, classify datasets, and ensure high-quality data annotation outputs. This role is designed for students or part-time workers seeking exposure to artificial intelligence, data labeling, and digital research within a fully remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, classify, and annotate localized Vietnamese geographic data, business categories, and employment-related search keywords.
- Conduct online research using publicly available sources, mapping tools, and digital directories to verify assigned data points.
- Apply local contextual understanding of Vietnam’s cities, districts, and administrative regions to ensure accurate dataset labeling.
- Support AI model improvement by maintaining consistent and accurate data annotation standards.
- Complete daily data labeling tasks within assigned timelines while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
- Perform quality control checks before submission of annotated datasets.
- Collaborate remotely with supervisors and project teams to ensure smooth workflow execution.
Requirements
- Currently residing in Vietnam and has lived in the country for at least two years.
- Open to college students and part-time workers of any nationality.
- No specific educational background required.
- Strong familiarity with Vietnam’s geography, including major cities, districts, and local administrative structures.
- Strong online research skills with attention to detail and structured analytical thinking.
- Comfortable using computers, web browsers, mapping tools, and online research platforms.
- Native or professional proficiency in Vietnamese, with working proficiency in English.
- Basic conversational Chinese is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Must have access to a personal laptop or computer with stable internet connection.
- Able to work independently from home with strong discipline in completing daily tasks.
- Available to work approximately 6–8 flexible hours per day, depending on task allocation.
