Job description for Video Editor at PT MEISHANG KOSMETIK INDONESIA
Job Responsibilities:
- Edit TikTok videos, livestream clips, and repurposed short-form content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create engaging and viral-style video edits aligned with current TikTok trends and audience preferences.
- Produce a minimum of 100 videos per month while maintaining content quality and consistency.
- Handle the full editing process independently, including: Subtitle creation, Sound effects, Editing pace and timing, Transitions, Cover/thumbnail design, Basic color correction and adjustment
- Utilize AI tools to improve editing efficiency and content production workflow.
- Adapt editing styles based on different brand identities, campaigns, and account needs.
- Collaborate closely with the operations, content, and livestream teams to support daily content production.
- Stay updated with the latest TikTok trends, viral audio, editing styles, and content formats.
- Optimize video performance based on content analytics and audience engagement data.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts content trends.
- Strong understanding of internet culture, viral content, and social media trends.
- Fast editing skills with an efficient production workflow.
- Proficient in at least one or more of the following tools: CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro
- Experienced in editing livestream highlight clips or livestream-related content.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high production targets.
- Responsible, communicative, and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in beauty, e-commerce, TikTok Shop, or livestream industries.
- Able to create entertaining, meme-based, emotional, or highly engaging content.
- Familiar with AI tools such as: ChatGPT, CapCut AI, Runway, Kling, HeyGen
- Basic knowledge of video shooting or content scripting is a plus.
- Experience creating viral or high-performing social media content.
