- Read the given material and research industry-specific terminology.
- Convert text from one language to another (English – Vietnamese).
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.
- Prepare subtitles for training videos.
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation.
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
- Follow up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs.
- Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure).
- Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices.
- Provide translation during work activities, other tasks related to translation and interpretation.
- Degree in Translation/Linguistic Studies/Creative Writing/Journalism.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, writing, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, timely follow-up, strong scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Strong capability to multitask and prioritize.
- Passion for games/art.
- Deep understanding of video game genres and linguistic choices.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and functional areas.
- Ability to provide advice and recommendation actions.
- Microsoft Office experience: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
