Job description for Teaching Assistant Coordinator at Everest Education

You will…
Your primary responsibilities include:
RECRUITMENT (20%)
● Planning for recruitment to staff new and current classes when needed;
● Proactively contributing to marketing and recruitment efforts targeted for college students;
including career fairs, networking events, and online marketing activities;
● Participating in screening and hiring process for TAs, including group interviews, one on one interviews, etc.

COORDINATION (40%)
● Coordinating all TA schedules for classes, placement tests and marketing events including substitute/class coverage;
● Collaborating with other TACs and AMs/HAM to ensure TAs receive all necessary up-front trainings;
● Managing effective communication within the TA team, and across departments;
● Observing TAs and giving constructive feedback as requested.

TEACHING ASSISTANCE (40%)
● Serving as a TA in at least 03 Math and/or English classes per term;
● Covering Placement Test shifts, as needed;
● Covering for TAs, as needed.

Other tasks assigned by the AM/HAM.

You have…
These are the minimum requirements. We can't accept you in this role unless you have them all:
● A Bachelor’s degree;
● English Fluency: You can work, email, conduct interviews, and lead seminars in English.
● Digital Fluency: You are comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google’s tools (Calendar, Mail, Drive) and generally confident using the Internet and web-based platforms.
