About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Marketing & Sales Supervisor to lead our business development efforts and expand our client portfolio. In this role, you will bridge technical capability and commercial strategy—identifying market opportunities, building relationships with key engineering and procurement partners, and managing sales initiatives for custom precision manufacturing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion & Sales Strategy: Identify and acquire new business opportunities across target industrial sectors (automotive, electronics, industrial equipment, aerospace).
- Technical Client Consultation: Review client technical drawings, specifications, and project scope alongside our engineering team to prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
- Account & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, managing inquiries, contract negotiations, and project kickoffs to ensure long-term client retention.
- Team Supervision & Workflow: Oversee day-to-day sales pipeline activity, set key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales representatives, and ensure timely follow-ups on leads and RFQs (Requests for Quote).
- Campaigns & Brand Positioning: Direct targeted B2B marketing strategies, digital presence, and trade show participation to highlight custom manufacturing capacities.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, material cost fluctuations, and competitor capabilities to keep our pricing and value proposition competitive.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales or marketing experience within the precision manufacturing, CNC machining, or tooling/dies industry.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings (blueprints, GD&T) and understand manufacturing processes (milling, turning, stamping dies, assembly jigs).
- Skills: Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and communication skills; proficiency with CRM software and MS Office.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client visits, facility tours, and industry exhibitions.
