Job description for Summer Camp Teaching Assistant at Everest Education
Location: The American School - TDC Learning Center (Everest Education)
Duration:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Start: July 06th
- End: July 31st
About the Summer Camp Program: A collaboration between E2 - TDC Learning Center with The American School (TAS) to organize a 4-week program combining STEM, creativity, and real-world problem-solving. Students engage in hands-on projects, design challenges, and themed activities (e.g. science exploration, engineering, innovation). Primary students (Grades 1–6) focus on interactive, project-based learning, while Grades 7–9 join the Math Thinking Lab to develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and deeper mathematical understanding.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up classroom before class and clean up after class;
- Support teachers with preparing class materials;
- Assist teachers in classroom management;
- Provide proper help to individual or groups of students to master learning concepts;
- Observe and record student attendance, compliance, and performance to assess, progress; highlight specific students who need attention;
- Supervise students, including during breaks, lunchtime and offsite trips;
- Support with the completion of the weekly newsletter.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently a university student with strong academic performance;
- Comfortable in speaking, writing and lecturing in English (fluent with standard pronunciation);
- Strong English communication;
- Available to work for 5 weekdays (Monday-Friday), from 9AM to 3PM from July 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026;
