Sourcing Executive

Job Overview

The Sourcing Executive reports to the Sourcing Lead and is responsible for supporting the commercial growth of Eezee through active prospecting, onboarding small to medium local enterprises and maintaining key supplier relationships.

Job Interactions & Interface:

This role interacts with internal staff: Seller Team, Supply Chain, Client Services, Marketing, Tech, Product and Sales Team.

This role reports to: Sourcing Lead

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends, pricing, and product availability.

- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on their ability to meet clients' product specifications, quality standards, and pricing requirements.

- Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with suppliers to secure competitive pricing while maintaining product quality.

- Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation and sourcing strategies.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless end-to-end execution of category and sourcing related activities.

- Stay informed about competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market dynamics, providing recommendations for maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
