Job description for Software Tester at Unit Technology Corporation
1. Document Review and Requirement Analysis
• Study and thoroughly understand the User Requirements and System Analysis & Design documents in English.
• Provide feedback, suggestions, and analyze requirement changes throughout the project development process.
2. Test Planning and Design
• Develop a Test Plan, including appropriate testing methods and strategies.
• Write detailed test cases (including test conditions, scenarios, and expected results).
• Review and update the Test Plan and test cases to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
3. Test Execution and Reporting
• Execute tests (manual/automation) based on the designed test cases, record defects, and generate detailed test reports.
• Perform Unit Testing to verify basic functionalities before handing over to System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Support the project team and clients during testing phases: SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), PREPRO (Pre-Production), and PROD (Production).
4. Documentation and Training
• Write User Manuals for end-users.
• Update testing documentation (Test Plan, Test Cases, Bug Reports, etc.) when requirements change.
• Extract lessons learned after project completion and share knowledge with the team to improve testing processes.
5. Compliance and Project Support
• Adhere to the information security policies of both the company and clients.
• Ensure data security and confidentiality in each specific project.
• Provide consultation and quality assessment support for other projects as needed.
Requirements:
• A degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
• At least 2 year of experience in software testing or a similar position.
• Knowledge of software testing processes (manual/automation) and testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, etc.
• Skills in planning, designing, and executing test cases effectively.
• Logical thinking, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
