Job summary

This role involves creating engaging, on-brand content for social media platforms to increase audience engagement, drive brand awareness, and support marketing goals. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of digital trends, and the ability to write compelling copy that resonates with diverse audiences!

Responsibilities

• Develop original, engaging, and platform-specific content (captions, posts, scripts, etc.) for channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
• Collaborate with the creative team (designers, video editors) to align content with visual assets and overall brand messaging.
• Create contents which convey key message of brand mood and tones effective branding angles and strategy, matching with brand mood and tone, align with topline strategy.
• Adapt brand tone of voice for various platforms and audience segments.
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends, meme culture, and viral content opportunities to create reactive and relevant content.
• Write scripts for short-form videos, influencer collaborations, or social campaigns.
• Participate in brainstorming and content planning meetings.
• Analyze content performance and adjust writing style/format based on insights and feedback.
• Support community engagement with witty, on-brand comment responses or moderation copy when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or social media.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• A strong grasp of different platform languages (e.g., TikTok vs. LinkedIn).
• Ability to write both long-form and short-form content with a clear understanding of audience engagement.
• Experience working with brand tone of voice guidelines.
• Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
