Job description for Senior Tax Officer at Travelio
Main Responsibilities :
- Prepare tax report and tax reconciliation for WHT and VAT
- Prepare reconciliation for prepaid tax and ensure all the documents are available and valid
- Equalize revenue with VAT output and expenses with input VAT and PPh
- Prepare and ensure all the tax payment process done timely and in accordance with GL
- Working closely with accounting, tax, payables, and receivables teams to review the existing and new vendor and partner taxes and propose calculation or correction if any
- Provide advice and ensure implementation of proper tax compliance on the Company’s day-to-day transactions.
- Identifying potential tax exposures and/or problem areas when reviewing tax compliance, and providing solution to mitigate the risk
- Liaise with both internal cross-functional teams and external advisors for tax advisory and tax compliance matters
- Provide advice related to maintain proper documentations for all transactions that related to tax
- Regularly monitor local tax regulation changes and the implications on the business
- Understand, assess and respond to any tax issue/case raised by the Tax Authorities, including being Company’s representative during the process
Other Responsibility :
- Support the Finance Team in daily operations to accomplish tax objectives and compliance with tax regulations
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance - Fiscal Administration, Taxation is preferable
- Brevet level A&B (minimum requirement)
- Deep understanding of Indonesian taxation regulations and treatments
- Understanding of international tax regulations and treatments is a plus
- Min. 3 years of experience as an in-house tax specialist
- Experience handling and dealing with Tax Authorities during tax audits/investigations
- Ability to work independently and productively
- Good analytical, communication & interpersonal skills with adaptability
- Good command of English (both in writing and speaking)
- Good computer literacy (MS Office package)
- Attention to detail
