The role of IT Application Support with a focus on CRM using Salesforce Lightning version involves:
· Setting up and training new users on the Salesforce CRM system and creating related documentation.
· Confirming requirements through cross-functional team discussions and adhering to best practices during the entire process.
· Managing enhancement and support requests, resolving issues, and performing administrative tasks, including user setup and permissions.
· Configuring rules, workflows, and performing bug fixes and Apex coding where applicable.
· Collaborating with team members and external service providers for enhancements and integrations.
· Administering and maintaining the application with proper controls and permissions, ensuring security and data access limits.
· Standardizing processes and continuously improving them across different countries.
· Planning and implementing projects or enhancements, supporting regional deployment.
· Designing and maintaining business reports and dashboards, keeping up with application updates.
· Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and map them to Salesforce solutions.
Requirements
· A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field would provide a solid foundation for understanding the business and technical aspects of Salesforce.
· Proficiency in using Salesforce, including data entry, customization, and reporting.
· Possess relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Analytics Cloud Consultant; and can demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in using Salesforce.
· Possessing other IT-related certifications has an added advantage.
· Proven experience in managing and enhancing capabilities and functionalities of the Salesforce platform.
· Familiarity with CRM concepts and sales processes.
· Strong analytical skills to understand and interpret data and identify trends and insights.
· Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools like Tableau.
· Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
· Practical knowledge navigating in ERP and integrations.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and generating reports.
· Problem-solving skills to identify issues and find solutions within Salesforce.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and understand their needs for data analysis.
· Adaptability and willingness to learn and adapt to new features and updates in Salesforce.
· Time management skills to efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
