Job description for RIsk Management Intern at BMT Singapore Pte. Ltd.
The successful candidates will involve in safety consultancy related work in supporting the Risk and Modelling team in Singapore.
The role includes:
· Assist in safety studies such as performing Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and development of Safety case for oil & gas, Petrochemical and semiconductor facilities.
· Support with scribing the risk management workshops e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, bowties and ALARP workshops.
· Provide general support plus delivery of an agreed project which will be defined at formal commencement of placement position
· Assist in solving and troubleshooting process problems to the oil & gas, chemicals and built infrastructure industry and analysis of process improvements
· Provide administrative support to the team
Requirement:
· Student pursuing Degree in Chemical Engineering
· Prior experience in risk assessment and management is advantageous
· Basic knowledge in process design and integration
· Good command of both written and spoken English.
· Proficient in MS Office applications such as Words, Excel and PowerPoint
· Good report writing skills
· Interest in programming language such as Visual Basic for Application, Python, R etc. will be an advantage
· Good team player with high level of maturity and independence
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
