Job description for QC (Game Tester) at CÔNG TY TNHH UPLIVE VN
Responsibilities:
- Review and understand design documents to identify testing requirements, then create detailed test plans, test cases, and prepare relevant test data.
- Execute product testing, report bugs and issues during testing, including (but not limited to) those related to gameplay, graphics, logic, user experience, and UI/UX.
- Detect, reproduce, and report bugs with clear evidence (steps, logs, screenshots, crash data, videos), track fixes, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely and complete resolution.
- Track and manage issues, continuously updating the project team on product quality status using JIRA (or equivalent platform)
- Validate data via SQL (BigQuery/MySQL) and test APIs with Postman.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and propose improved testing methods or tools for the team.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in game/app testing with solid knowledge of testing principles, SDLC, and manual testing.
- Hands-on experience writing test cases/checklists, executing tests, reporting bugs, and testing across multiple platforms/devices.
- Familiar with Jira, Trello, Asana, Google Sheets, and basic project documentation; programming knowledge is a plus.
- Passion for mobile gaming with experience playing various game genres is a plus.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, take ownership, and work in an Agile environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to read English documentation; strong written English is a plus.
