Job description for QA (Garment) at Baller Headwear
WHAT WILL YOU INVOLVE
- Review tech packs, samples, and specifications before production starts.
- Participate in PP (Pre-Production) meetings with factories and related departments.
- Approve production swatches (fabrics, trims, accessories) based on development confirmation.
- Monitor production processes daily to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct in-line audits at key stages: cutting, sewing, embroidery, finishing, packing.
- Identify defects and root causes, provide feedback to production teams for corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability.
- Perform final AQL inspections before shipment based on agreed sampling plans
- Ensure product measurements, labeling, packaging, and overall presentation meet buyer standards
- Prepare and submit QA reports to management and relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, buyer requirements, and international standards (ISO, AQL, RSL, CPSIA, etc.).
- Update and maintain quality control records.
- Work closely with Production, Merchandising, and Technical teams to resolve quality issues.
- Escalate major issues to QA Manager for timely resolution.
WHAT WE NEED YOU HAVE
- 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC in garment manufacturing.
- Knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and quality systems.
- Familiar with AQL, 5S, ISO, RSL/CPSIA standards.
- Good English
- Strong observation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, honest, able to work under pressure
