JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
How will YOU contribute to the Team?
As a Python/Full Stack developer, you will be creating and deploying software to support our enterprise advertising systems, which are a fast-evolving part of our business. You'll be working on projects from start to finish and then supporting on the ongoing innovation of them.
What you will be doing:
- Writing code to deliver the technical functionality
- Execute the full software development life cycle from requirements gathering, design, development, unit testing, build and deployment
- You will also be supporting post deployment phases and software optimisation.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Do YOU have what it takes to succeed?
- Essential skills around:
- Python
- Django
- AWS products
- CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with design and implementation of RESTful API in Python serverless approaches like AWS Lambda
- Strong competencies in data structures, object-oriented programming, and software design
- Attention to detail and ability to write clean, well structured and concise code
- Experience in working with a range of data storage solutions including SQL, NoSQL, AWS Dynamo
- Experience in using Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of using Git and Jenkins
- Ability to apply and deploy the best DevOps practices into software projects
- Experience with unit and system testing
- Ability to adapt to new problems and learn quickly
- Outstanding communication skills. Able to coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups.
