• Manage and supervise daily production activities across all manufacturing sections.
• Ensure production targets, schedules, and delivery commitments are achieved.
• Translate production plans and customer requirements into clear and achievable manufacturing schedules.
• Monitor production progress throughout the day and take immediate corrective action when targets are at risk.
• Ensure smooth workflow and coordination between all production stages.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve throughput.
• Maintain high levels of production discipline, efficiency, and accountability.
• Oversee production activities across:
o Cutting and CNC machining
o Woodworking and joinery
o Edge banding and drilling
o Sanding and surface preparation
o Painting and finishing
o Upholstery and stitching
o Assembly
o Final inspection and packing
• Ensure production is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, samples, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Standardize manufacturing methods and ensure compliance with approved production procedures.
• Coordinate prototype and sample production before mass production.
• Ensure accurate transfer of technical requirements from design and engineering teams to production.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate production priorities based on customer orders, project deadlines, material availability, and production capacity.
• Monitor production loading and capacity across different departments.
• Optimize machine, labor, and production-line utilization.
• Coordinate closely with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams.
• Ensure material shortages or production constraints are identified and escalated before affecting delivery schedules.
• Establish and monitor production KPIs for each manufacturing department.
• Improve labor productivity, machine utilization, production speed, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Analyze production losses, downtime, bottlenecks, and idle time.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with strong experience in furniture production.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Production Manager, Production Head, Senior Production Supervisor, or equivalent leadership position.
• Strong practical knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing multiple production departments and large teams.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, workflow optimization, and capacity management.
• Experience with CNC machinery, woodworking, joinery, finishing, upholstery, and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or production management systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
