Job description for Pricing Executive/Leader - Chinese Fluent at CÔNG TY TNHH VẬN TẢI KART (VIỆT NAM)
I. JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Vendor sourcing and cost optimization
• Source, evaluate and develop vendors (domestic trucking, cross-border, customs clearance,
etc.).
• Collect and compare vendor rates; work with the Operations team to verify feasibility and
actual costs.
• Negotiate the best rates; update the vendor rate sheet regularly.
2. Quotation support for Sales and Admin
• Prepare quotations according to customer requirements, on time and with healthy margins.
• Explain price structure, surcharges and applicable terms when Sales or customers need it.
• Track quotation results (win/loss) to adjust pricing policy.
3. Quotation support for the Board of Directors for Kart member companies
• Receive quotation requests from Kart member companies.
• Coordinate with vendors and Operations to prepare quotations, submit to the BOD for approval
and respond on time.
• Hold meetings and communicate directly in Chinese with partners and member companies
when needed.
4. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
II. REQUIREMENTS:
• College/University degree in Logistics, Foreign Trade, Economics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an equivalent Pricing/Procurement role in logistics or
transportation.
• Fluent Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing); HSK 5 or above preferred. Conversational
English is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of cost structures for road freight and cross-border routes (VN–CN–VN,
CN–VN–Laos–TH, VN–Cambodia) and related surcharges.
• An existing vendor network is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, pricing calculation sheets, etc.).
• Strong negotiation and data analysis skills; detail-oriented and able to work under tight quotation
deadlines.
