Job description for Physics Teacher for Secondary (GURU FISIKA SMP - SMA) at Pelita Bangsa International School
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage students in hands-on and inquiry-based learning.
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and projects, and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to support interdisciplinary learning and curriculum development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1–2 years teaching experience at the middle school level, preferably in Physics or General Science.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about education and committed to student development.
- Proficient in using technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiar with Cambridge Syllabus and able to make Lesson Plan.
- Able to work in a team or independently
