Responsibilities and Duties
The Specific responsibilities in this role include:
• Formulating Kudeungoe Sugata Indonesia strategy in the following areas
o Target markets identified for growth
o Mitigation efforts to reduce competitor risk
o Auditing product quality
o Pitching to clients and suppliers
o Supporting all business efforts
o Enforcing branding regulations and the Sugata’s communication strategy
• Be the role model for the embodiment of Sugata’s vision, mission, and values.
• Planning and supervise the establishment of distribution centers, post-harvest processing centers, and warehouses across Indonesia
• Supervise the drafting of Sugata’s administration regulations. These regulations must follow the Labor Ministry and best practice. The regulations must be reviewed and updated regularly. The regulations should also come with templates and checklists.
• Scale up the Sugata’s Business in term of acquired new client and business
• Define roles of the entire Sugata’s Team
• Formulate the performance measurement of the Sugata’s Team
• Formulate annual operating budget for the units that report to him. On the direction of the CEO, the Operation Director must compile an operational budget for the company.
• 15+ years of experience working in leadership roles at both major trading companies and start-ups.
• Experience leading deeply on product plans and aligning business strategy and its delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong budgeting and team-leading abilities never-ending endeavor to make operational better
• Passionate about the customers and demonstrated experience at building a relationship with them.
• Experience interpreting customer needs and market trends.
• Proven track record of clear communications with C-suite stakeholders and across cross-functional teams.
• Possess extensive experiences and the ability to handle field operation and the team
• Possess knowledge in several commodities (Agri-Inputs, Cocoa, Coffee, etc) and the related warehousing and distribution processes
• Past track record of recruiting and developing a high performing operational team
• Proven change agent and a strong strategic thinker
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams across a variety of functional roles
• Data-driven method for decision making using KPIs and metrics.
