Job description for Odoo Developer at bTaskee Vietnam
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer to join our team in implementing and developing ERP systems on the Odoo platform. The candidate will directly participate in business requirement analysis, solution design, feature development, and system integration to meet the operational needs of enterprises.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyze requirements from stakeholders, users, and various business departments.
- Proactively work with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and propose suitable solutions.
- Design system architecture, database structure, and business process flows on Odoo.
- Develop new and customize existing Odoo modules according to requirements.
- Design, develop, and integrate APIs with external systems such as CRM, Website, Mobile App, Zalo OA, Google Services, ERP, and WMS.
- Build real-time or asynchronous data synchronization solutions using Kafka.
- Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data storage, processing, and optimization.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues arising during system operation.
- Optimize Odoo system performance and integrated services.
- Manage user permissions, data security, and access control within Odoo.
- Support system deployment, training, and knowledge transfer to end users.
- Participate in code reviews, improve development processes, and ensure product quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience in Odoo development.
- Strong understanding of Odoo Framework architecture, including ORM, Security, Workflow, Views, Reports, and Cron Jobs.
- Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL.
- Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience integrating systems via API, Webhook, or Message Queue.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kafka.
- Knowledge and experience working with MongoDB.
- Business knowledge in Accounting & Finance, Inventory & Warehouse Management (WMS), Procurement (Purchase), Sales Management, User role-based permissions and data security.
Nice to have
- Understanding of Microservices and system integration patterns is an advantage.
- Experience working with Linux, Docker, and Git.
