Martiangear is a fast-growing Franco-Singaporean gaming furniture brand.
Martiangear is on a mission to unlock human's full potential by giving them access to the galaxy's best equipment to create, play and work better!
We offer a wide range of gaming chairs and adjustable desks. We also launched Singapore's first and only all-in-one gaming station, the Martiangear Cockpit.
As part of our fast expansion, we are looking to hire a dynamic sales intern to help us run our upcoming new store located in a central and high end shopping mall.
You will:
- Provide excellent sales and customer services to all walk-in customers
- Provide relevant product recommendations and information to customers
- Build strong rapport with customers to ensure a positive retail experience
- Maintenance and upkeep of showroom appearance
- Brand development in terms of sales, advertising, and promotions
- Ability to work Wednesday to Sunday (including PH) for afternoon and evening shift
- Earn a base salary of 800 SGD + very rewarding commission and freebies (gaming chairs etc.) based on your sales quota attainment
You will also:
- Work directly with Martiangear founders who are experienced veterans from top-tier Silicon-Valley companies
- You will get trained on value-based selling used by Silicon Valley-based tech companies
- Be immersed in the early days of a start-up life and experience exciting moments like a product launch, international expansion, fundraising, etc.
- Drive high-priority initiatives that will shape the growth of the organization
- Run growth experiments and ideate on effective marketing acquisition strategies (offline and online)
What we are looking for:
- Retail experience is not necessary but an advantage
- Enthusiastic personality and passion for excellent customer service
- Ability to cope with pressure and be self-motivated
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Fast learner with a passion for gaming and new technology
- A good understanding of the competitive landscape is a plus
