Job description for Marketing Manager at Vietcetera
Founded in 2016, Vietcetera is a Vietnamese online publishing platform company headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City. It is the country’s first media company serving as a publishing platform for Vietnamese and English language content. Operating as a news hub for Vietnam, Vietcetera aims to be the content provider of choice for the emerging, increasingly savvy middle-class and white-collar Vietnamese consumers, as well as for international business readers, overseas Vietnamese, and travelers to Vietnam. The company’s mission is to bring Vietnam to the world, and the world to Vietnam.
We are at a high-growth phase at Vietcetera Media and are looking for a full-stack Marketing Manager. This person will lead the marketing team, and work with other stakeholders in the company - Content, Video, Design to build a marketing plan, drive performance metrics and raise Vietcetera's brand awareness.
People Management:
Build a high performance marketing team, motivate and inspire team members to be consistently creative, proactive, and productive. Help team members build strong marketing competency: provide regular training or feedback for learning & development purpose to team members
Manage cross-functional stakeholders such as content, sales, product, BOD… to ensure smooth collaboration and effective communication across all functions
Content distribution & user acquisition that focus on growth and retention:
Strategize: build creative and data-driven content distribution strategies to maximize its reach and engagement to target audiences across all channels (SEO, Direct, Social, Apps, Events…)
Planning: Turn the strategies into actionable plans with clear goals, definition of success
Execution: Optimize the execution of marketing plans with speed and efficiency.
Adjust: adjust the execution process according to learnings from data, customers, audiences, or internal stakeholders….
Analysis: analyze metrics that closely reflect content performance on multiple channels to recommend the content team on how to improve content format and serve the audience better, or serve bigger audiences
Partnership development: Build strategic partnerships and collaborations for content distribution and user acquisition
Other tasks:
Collab with other teams to build marketing plans for our campaign or events (Cast Camp 2021, F&B Award, launching new series,...)
Plan and manage marketing budgets
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing and social media management
Minimum 2-3 years of experience building brands, running integrated marketing campaigns and consistently exceeding or delivering against KPIs
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Your superpowers: content marketing, user psychology, story-telling, copy-writing, marketing analytics, community engagement
You exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
You have excellent writing and copy-writing skills
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, goal-oriented and have superior time management skills
You are a teammate who is at once a strategic thinker/ leader, and fearless executor
You think out of the box, and are an excellent communicator who can work comfortably across teams
You have a growth mindset, curious to learn and to mentor other team members
Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English. At this time we are not able to consider international candidates or sponsor work visas.
