Job description for Marketing and Merchandising (Ops) Intern at Finix Wear

In this role, you will be developing and honing your skills in the following areas:
Marketing & Social Media
- Manage the brand's social media platforms, including community management
- Develop content calendar for social media platforms
- Propose and develop creative and compelling content ideas for various mediums (with a strong focus on video) and platforms (i.e. Instagram/Facebook, and TikTok)
- Ensure assets are uploaded according to the timeline
- Work with the team to create effective campaigns through a range of marketing activities (e.g. PR, promotions, eDMs, website, social media, digital ads, influencer marketing and marketing events)
- Assist in developing and planning the brand's annual marketing calendar and creative briefs
- Develop and manage influencer outreach initiatives including identifying key brand ambassadors and partners, and building and nurturing relationships with them
- Plan and manage the brand’s photo shoots from end-to-end, including logistics planning and scheduling
- Be on the pulse of content trends and develop targeted ad campaigns on Google, Facebook and TikTok
- Assist in the consolidation of data for analysis; propose opportunities to grow reach and revenue
- Provide support for various marketing initiatives when needed
Inventory Management & Forecasting
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy of data in POS and inventory management system
- Analyse sales and product performance reports to improve product sell-through; identify inventory risks and opportunities
- Manage allocation of stocks across all selling channels
- Propose and implement replenishment and stock allocation strategies to maximise sales and reach KPI
Retail and E-Commerce Operations
- Handle onboarding process of new sales channels
- Manage the operations of our e-commerce and offline retail channels
- Actively seek out and monitor customer/competitor/retail feedback and trends for improvement
- Manage and maintain productive relationships with retail partners
- Assist in the fulfilment of sales orders
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiar with using a variety of graphic and video editing software, apps and tools to create collaterals and visuals, including short form mobile videos - (at least proficient in handling Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Canva and TikTok video editing).
- Experienced in strategising and planning digital and social media ad campaigns. Ability to launch FB/IG, Google, SEO/SEM, TikTok ads are a bonus.
- Strong creativity and storytelling skills.
- Basic photography and videography knowledge and experience is a plus (e.g. able to handle a DSLR camera, gimbal, basic camera set up, lighting, etc.).
- Strong understanding/prior experience in marketing preferred, bonus if experience is in performance marketing.
- A well-developed eye for balance and composition
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
