Job description for Marketing & Communication Communicator at IKEA
- Built on insights and customer needs, you develop a strong and commercial customer meeting through marketing and communication
- You are responsible to create a Product Communication analysis on product and range level, and decide what, when and how to communicate on the IKEA website and in the store
- To manage and be responsible for our local production agency (including briefing, production, feedback, invoicing)
- To create content and proactively inform communication production suppliers (in Sweden and Vietnam) and stakeholders about upcoming plans to secure the content readiness and execution
- You will be responsible to maintain & activate our Natural Fibres communication platform, messages & stories which are anchored and activated through product communication
- You are responsible to support and lead the use of co-creation as input to our product development
- Most importantly, always trying to find ways to do all of the above more simple, faster and to a better cost!
- Excellent ability to create communication concepts from complex customer and product data into inspiring, simple and visual communication
- Strong ability to contribute to overall performance and the development of the development teams
- Experience in managing agencies is highly preferred
- An excellent communicator that is comfortable in presenting in front of bigger audiences
- Excellent ability to proactively build relations with stakeholders across the organisation
- Experienced in project management and working on multiple projects of different complexities and timelines in parallel
- Driven by operational tasks as well as strategic direction
- You are guided by simplicity and always strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering high quality communication
- You enjoy believe it is important to find new and better ways of doing things!
- You are a team player, true initiator, identifying needs proactively and have a just-do-it attitude
