Main responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze legal developments relevant to the company’s business activities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Identify areas requiring updates and propose appropriate actions for compliance.
- Coordinate and advise internal departments to ensure that all business activities are in full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. This includes drafting, reviewing, and providing legal guidance on a variety of legal documents such as commercial contracts, employment agreements, internal policies, and other relevant legal materials.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes, particularly those involving intellectual property rights (e.g., trademark infringement, copyright violations), and collaborate with external legal counsel where necessary.
- Assist clients in meeting their legal compliance obligations in jurisdictions where the company operates.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Legal Team Leader or Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; candidates who have completed bar training will be preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Strong proficiency in legal research, issue analysis, and problem-solving.
- Exceptional ability to draft and present legal documents clearly, logically, and succinctly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English, particularly in reading legal texts, drafting legal correspondence, and engaging in professional communication.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented attitude with a strong willingness to learn and take on responsibility
