- Receive, label and safely store samples to be tested
- Determine and perform laboratory testing needed for the analysis and report
- Make scientific observation and findings
- Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods
- Record all data and results with accuracy and responsibility
- Organize and store chemical solution, reagents and samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel, performance of reagents, and integrity of the samples
- Maintain daily work logs and equipment, including assist in ordering laboratory supplies and recalibration of equipment
- Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or in science-related fields or Diploma in Health Analyst with molecular biology skill
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a lab technician or relevant position
- Have qualified knowledge and skill in the field of molecular biology, especially for DNA extraction, PCR and genotyping assays
- In depth knowledge of QHSE Systems
- Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs
- Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English and Indonesian
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams
