We’re looking for a writer to create engaging, insightful content for a global community of parents.
At Connected, we use psychometrics and developmental psychology to provide customised personality insights that help our users journey towards better relationships with their loved ones.
Job description:
● Create content that appeals to the target audience, boosts our brand awareness, and gives valuable insights to parenting communities
● Write and edit articles for our blog, based on briefs and research material
● Identify engaging blog article, podcast, and video content topics based on research material
● Work with content lead to create podcast and video scripts that are engaging and relevant to the target audience
● Edit and proofread articles and scripts for our community content
● Ensure that all content created adheres to in-house editorial style guides
● Adjust content direction, tone, or style based on feedback from content lead and marketing department
We’re looking for someone who’s aligned with our current needs for this role:
● Having at least 1 year of writing experience is an advantage
● Great writing and editing skills for B2C (business to consumer) content
● Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Communication Studies or other relevant fields
● Some basic understanding of psychometrics e.g. Five Factor Model/ MBTI/ 16 Personalities is helpful (but not a deal-breaker)
● Experience writing copy for social media, blogs, or online magazines is important
● Experience with podcasts and vlogs is a considerable advantage
● Positive attitude, curious, willing to learn, with a good sense of humour
● Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills
