Job description for Junior Videographer at Mediashock Productions Pte Ltd
What we're looking for
You are a videographer with at least 2 years of experience in this role. You yearn to work with additional team mates, so that you do what you do best; operate the video cameras and lights, and not having to worry about being awkward in front of clients.
You love cameras and equipment, and have experience with the Canon Cine Cameras and Sony mirrorless cameras, and am prepared to work in a company full of Canon fanboys.
You appreciate that lighting is more than half the work for a great scene, and am willing to put in the hard work to make the difference in the shadows and the highlights to bring across the message of the subject through the mood of the scene. You understand the effect of different modifiers, lights and scrims and fast to work on the production set to ensure the best are presented.
You acknowledge that video production is a team sport. You desire for a home-base, a team who shares critiques, feedback, and shows you how the videos you film, when packaged with motion graphics and visual effects, makes it look good, way more than what you could have created alone.
What you will do
- Manage and maintain equipment inventory, like cameras, lights, stands, lens.
- Assist the lead videographer on projects, and operate lights and sound on interview based projects
- Operate the secondary angle on video shoots
- Gimbal operations
- Work mainly with Canon EOS Cinema cameras like C70, C100, C300
- Backup all footages
- Some experience in video editing and shot sequencing will be advantageous
