Job description for Junior/Middle Automation Tester at LTS Group
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing tools for web and mobile applications.
- Develop test cases for both existing and newly developed features based on project requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests to verify product functionality, identify defects, and ensure product quality.
- Perform API testing and collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues.
- Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans, checklists, and test cases.
- Participate in testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Research and adopt new testing tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- At least 2.5 years of experience in software testing, with experience in the game domain being highly preferred.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with API testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and the ability to design effective test cases for existing and new features.
- Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong requirement analysis skills and the ability to write clear, comprehensive test cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest.
- Experience in performance testing and/or SDK testing.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Experience working on game-related projects.
Communication and Soft Skills
- Good verbal communication skills in English; an IELTS certificate is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
- Good communication and collaboration skills when working with developers, QA team members, and other stakeholders.
