Job description for Java Fullstack Developer (Domain Banking) at Unit Technology Corporation
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services following Microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
- Participate in large-scale projects, preferably within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.
- Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions that align with project objectives.
- Work with SQL databases for data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot, debug, optimize application performance, and resolve production issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation, application deployment, and production support.
- Report progress and technical issues to the line manager on a regular basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor/ college’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience in Finance, Banking, and Insurance (BFSI), with a strong preference for Digital Banking, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Payment, and E-wallet solutions.
- 4+ years of experience in Java software development.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Message Brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of application security standards (OWASP) and authentication/encryption mechanisms (JWT, RSA, SHA).
- Proficient in SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for data modelling, querying, and performance optimization.
- Good knowledge of web/application containers (Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere ...) and web/application deployment.
- Familiar with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud-native application deployment.
- Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance tuning (High CPU, Memory Leak, etc.).
- Experience with ElasticSearch/ELK Stack.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with Camunda or BPMN 2.0 is highly preferred.
