Job description for IT PROJECT MANAGER (PM) at RIVICO
Job Description:
- Plan, allocate resources, and manage the full lifecycle of the company’s core software projects, including POS sales management software, warehouse management systems, and FnB & retail chain operation systems.
- Work closely with internal teams, including BA, Testers, and Developers, to finalize solutions, assign tasks, and ensure project delivery on schedule.
- Manage risks and proactively identify and resolve issues or blockers arising during project implementation.
- Organize team meetings such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives, monitor team performance, and provide regular progress reports to the Board of Directors and clients.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of practical experience as an IT Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
- Prior experience in retail systems, inventory management, or FnB operations is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of software development processes such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall, and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and similar platforms.
- Strong communication, negotiation, team coordination, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic technical knowledge, including an understanding of system flows, APIs, and databases, is a plus.
- Highly proactive and self-driven, with strong problem-solving skills, ambition, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to apply AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini in planning, documentation, and reporting workflows to improve productivity is a strong advantage.
