Role & Responsibilities

● Manage and have oversight of all in-country programme development and be accountable for Key Performance Indicators set by JDI.

● Conduct in-country business development activities to secure and increase the number of

hosted internship opportunities in the assigned industries.

● Responsible for all in-country administrative and operational aspects of developed and

in-gestation programmes. These include close coordination with client universities, partners

and vendors assigned or arranged by JDI, as well as the close coordination with participating students and their employers in Vietnam.

● Assist in the administrative requirements from universities in Singapore when local events

are organised. These include

● Interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the initiatives started either locally or from Singapore.

● Respond to local host employers’ enquiries and address concerns related to the universities’ funded (and all other related) programmes.

● Coordinate with universities concerning student accommodation and student VISA

application for students travelling to the assigned country for Internship.

● Remain the Point of contact and escalation channel in-country for all client universities’

related matters.

● Monitor and evaluate current local administrative processes, and make recommendations

regarding the development and implementation of new and revised processes to support

continuous improvement and the use of best practices for all local programmes.

● Keep abreast of local labour or employment laws, travel visa and other local government

requirements that affect or may affect in-country programmes.

● Maintain granular programme statistics and indicators for the funded programme in the

country assigned.

● Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and funding agencies.

● Maintain a programme calendar and coordinate logistical support for university-related

activities.

● Plan, coordinate and execute the tracer survey of graduates who participate in the funded

programme.

● Conduct employer evaluation visits during the student’s internship period.

● Travel to Singapore, when required by client universities for related programme briefings,

consultations, evaluations, as well as to receive training.

● Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the reporting officer at client universities

Are you the right fit?

● Degree with 5 years of relevant work experience in customer facing roles within an education

industry or public service administration setting.

● Service-oriented with demonstrated experience in application of customer service strategies on the ground and commitment to service excellence.

● Strong network in various industries and corporate partnership experience will be

advantageous.

● Resilient and effective in time management to be effective in case management.

● Passionate to work with students and knowledgeable of trends in student affairs in a higher education framework with ability to navigate the complexity of higher education.

● Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and strength in stakeholder-management to

establish and maintain effective working relationships.

● Fast learner and an agent of change who is highly motivated, focused and results-oriented.

● Ability to use judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills in dealing with confidential

and sensitive issues.

● Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

● Good problem-solving skills and able to work independently through a questioning,

organizing, researching, analyzing mindset to process and interpret information.

● Detail-oriented with strong project management, good administration and organizational

skills.

● Proven team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.

● Strong cultural quotient and its sensitivity to cultural diversity with ability to communicate

and interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

● Adept in the use of technology with a high level of proficiency in applications like Microsoft

Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Access).

● The ability to speak and read English is a must.
