Seedcom is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Intern AI Engineers to join our dynamic and energetic Digital Product Team who are building the service engines empowering the website (Kingfoodmart is having nearly 90 stores in Ho Chi Minh) and mobile app OneLife to serve millions of customers in Vietnam.

Role Overview: As an LLM/Recommender Engineer Intern, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our AI initiatives to enhance customer experience and drive business growth. You will assist in the development, testing, and optimization of cutting-edge AI models, specifically in the areas of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Recommender Systems. If you’re passionate about Artificial Intelligence, eager to learn, and love tackling complex problems with data, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. AI Model Development and Experimentation:
○ Assist in the building, testing, and evaluation of AI models, including:
■ Large Language Models (LLMs): Focusing on content generation and chatbot development.
■ Recommender Systems: Developing personalized product recommendations.
○ Experiment with different machine learning techniques and algorithms to improve model performance and efficiency.
○ Contribute to the development of production-quality AI models under the guidance of senior engineers.
○ Tech Stack : PyTorch, Transformers, scikit-learn
2. Data Analysis and Preprocessing:
○ Work with large datasets to extract relevant features and insights for model training and evaluation.
○ Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation to ensure data quality for AI models.
○ Analyze model performance metrics and identify areas for improvement based on data analysis.
○ Tech Stack: Pandas, NumPy, Google Cloud Services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow)
3. Collaboration and Learning:
Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI Researchers, and other team members to deliver AI-assisted solutions.
○ Participate in research and learning activities to stay updated on the state-of-the-art in AI and related fields.
○ Contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation efforts.
4. Model Deployment and Integration (Learning Opportunity):
○ Learn about the process of deploying AI models as APIs and integrating them into our platform.
○ Assist in testing and monitoring deployed models to ensure their stability and performance in a real-world setting.
○ Example Projects:
■ LLM Prompt Engineering: Developing robust prompt engineering strategies to generate engaging content for various touchpoints, ensuring users receive relevant product information and best deals.
■ Lifestyle AI assistant: Contributing to the development of a chatbot that provides daily cooking inspiration and assists users with queries. -> what to cook for today
■ Personalized Recommendation & Deals Features: Working on features like "Favorite Products" and "Daily Product Reminders" to enhance user experience and drive sales.

5. Research and Innovation:
○ Support research initiatives by exploring new algorithms, models, and techniques in LLMs and Recommender Systems.
○ Contribute to innovative ideas and solutions to address business challenges using AI.
Qualifications:
Education:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
● Proven understanding of machine learning principles and experience with Python programming.
● Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and/or Recommender Systems. Ability to discuss basic concepts and demonstrate familiarity with relevant tools and techniques.
● Experience with data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) is highly desirable.
● Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM application development frameworks is a plus, as is experience with vector databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate).
Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Internship Requirements:
Successful candidates must be able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 3 months.
