Job description for Interior Designer Staff (President University Foundation) at President University

President University Foundation are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional, aesthetic, and innovative interior spaces that support educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for educational and supporting facilities.
  • Develop interior concepts, layouts, working drawings, and 3D visualizations.
  • Prepare material specifications, furniture selections, and material estimates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and consultants throughout project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor project quality to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
  • Evaluate completed interior works and ensure project readiness before handover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interior Designer.
  • Experience handling projects in education, office, hospitality, retail, or public facilities is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing projects from concept design through construction.
  • Strong creativity with an excellent sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Able to read architectural and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in design development.
  • Experienced in conducting quality control for interior works.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Able to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
