Job description for Innovation Program Assistant at Lead The Change
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Innovation Program Assistant to support the planning and execution of innovation and startup-focused programs at InnoLab Asia.
This role involves working closely with our international partners, startups, and internal team to coordinate high-impact activities such as startup acceleration, innovation challenges, trade promotion missions, and capacity-building events across Southeast Asia and beyond.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Program Management & Operations:
- Supporting the end-to-end planning and implementation of innovation, entrepreneurship, and other programs, along with internal operations.
- Coordinate logistics, timelines, communication, documentation, and internal alignment across functions.
- Assist in onboarding startups, mentors, speakers, and stakeholders into each program.
- Maintain program documentation, project plans, SOPs, and checklists.
2. International Projects & Partner Coordination:
- Liaise with international partners (accelerators, embassies, government agencies, universities, corporates) to align expectations and deliverables.
- Support cross-border activities such as startup trade missions, investor matching, or global demo days.
- Prepare and maintain project briefs, partnership decks, and reports.
3. Event Execution (online & offline):
- Coordinate workshops, demo days, immersion tours, and other events (virtual & in-person).
- Handle logistics: venue booking, speaker coordination, registration, on-site support.
- Work with marketing and media teams for event promotions.
4. Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with startups, alumni, mentors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Support engagement initiatives (newsletter, private groups, follow-up surveys, spotlight content).Assist in building a vibrant, mission-aligned community around our programs.
5. Monitoring, Reporting & Improvement:
- Track KPIs, timelines, and program milestones.
- Support data collection and post-program evaluations.
- Proactively suggest improvements for better participant experience and program outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, startup programs, innovation, education, or community building
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional communication in English and Vietnamese (both spoken & written)
- Tech-savvy: confident using tools like Google Workspace, Lark, Trello, Zoom, Canva
- Prior experience working with or around startups, accelerators, or NGOs is a strong plus
- Detail-oriented, dependable, eager to grow and take ownership over time
